Anchor 1

2002 graduate of the Moritz College of Law at The Ohio State University. Civil and Business Litigation have been my primary areas of practice representing both individuals and corporate clients. Additionally, I have represented over 100 professional football athletes in relation to Worker's Compensation Claims.

Notable Cases

Ron Nemetcheck et al. v. Jack Sissoyev et al

Verdict or Settlement:

$17M Jury Verdict

I had the pleasure of representing the owners of a hunting guide outfit that operated out of Canada in relation to their defamation and trade libel claims against another individual and his company. After a month long trial, we secured a rather substantial Jury Verdict.

Inspired by Media Group v. Ron Belk, Inspired Properties, LLC

Verdict or Settlement:

Summary Adjudication

I had the pleasure of representing this faith based company in relation to a dispute over a licensing agreement pertaining to their flagship product "Inspired By...The Bible Experience". Ultimately, via summary adjudication, we were able to secure a ruling that the opposing party had breached the license agreement and were able to restore the rights of our client.

Silvia Perez v. Daughters of Charity Health System

Verdict or Settlement:

7 Figure Class Action Settlement

In this matter I represented a class of hourly health care workers (including, but not limited to, respiratory therapists, CNA's, etc.) in relation to their wage & hour claims against their employer and the affiliated healthcare network. After complex litigation and negotiations, we secured a 7 figure settlement for the class.

George Harris et al v. Abel Rojas et al

Verdict or Settlement:

Defense Verdict

In this matter I represented the lessee of a commercial piece of property in Southern California in relation to his claims for breach of contract against the lessor/landlord and defended against the lessor's/landlord's counterclaims for breach of contract. Not only were we able to prevail on our claims for breach of contract, but we secured a complete defense verdict against the commercial landlord on his counterclaims for breach of contract.
